Annotation:		In this paper the author considers the problem of defining the subject of civil-law contract. Based on the analysis of concepts «subject of the contract», «commitment item» and «object agreement», it is concluded that the subject of the contract is the result of agreement between the parties, in which their will is seen on the object, as well as the alleged actions of the parties to achieve legal purposes, for which they enter into a contractual relationship
