Annotation:		The article deals with fitting people to the conditions of life in the Jewish Autonomous Region. Particular attention is drawn to the fact that among the variety of different kinds of adaptations that influence the degree of survival rate settlers, social adaptation plays an important role. The author concludes that the territory in question as there are conditions conducive to social adaptation of migrants and hampering her.
